If you've haven't noticed all ready, I've been rather dead recently and I can't promise that I'll magically become un-dead anytime soon. The holidays are nearly over, and I've literally done nothing for PokeNova, although I'd like to make a new layout sometime although I can't expect it to be done either..

Hopefully before the end of the holidays I'll have the motivation and the time to make a new layout and recode the NovaTag which is practically useless in it's current state.. D:

Why am I so unfocused and unmotivated? Because I fell in love. With a MacBook. Oh, and I also went to nerd camp, but more on that later. Anywho, ever since I fell in love with MacBooks at nerd camp *phew* all I've had the motivation to do is to save up for it, and drool, and stufffs. And it's not like I've got nearly enough money to buy one, I'm just so obsessive. Hah. Not really, but still...

Anywho, I promise! I will add something to the site before the 15th of July, the day I go back to school. ;D (Don't quote me on that)

Basically, school work is getting the best of me, and I really don't have that much time to spare anymore. However, no need for despair, although I bring nothing new with this update. However, I am going to tell you guys what I'm planning on doing around PokeNova in the next three months or so.

Basically, I'm going to expand on each idea, however if you want a short list version just scroll down to the bottom of the update.

Layout I'm going to make a new layout template, which will only be two columned. However, the menu won't be a hover menu and all links are planned to be clearly visible, and affiliates will receive appropriate placement. I've already designed the code for the template, so all I need to do now is fashion two respectable and good-looking layouts with which to release it with.

News System Although you may think that I'm switching merely because of the recent hackings, I'm not. I'm switching because I feel so much more comfortable using my own news system, which I will know how it works and such. In fact, I find the whole design of Cutenews quite infuriating.

Forums As quite a few of you should know, the forums are completely dead, and I've been meaning to do a revamp for a while now. Instead of following the crowd and making my own forum system and implementing it into the main PokeNova design, I'll keep the forums separated from the main site, mostly. I plan to code a forum system by myself, hosting them as a subdomain or something similar, and when that's done I'll implement the news commenting system onto the forum system, however you won't need to register to comment. The new forum system will hopefully have multiple styles too. ;D

Content Revision And I've been mentioning this for a while. When I get around to it, I'll revise all of the non-revised content, which is all but the main section and a few pieces from the webmasters section. This includes revision of interactive content as well, so keep your eyes peeled. I'm expecting the Pokémon content to be the most difficult, as I'll need to think of something more original than game summaries, and at the moment I'm utterly clueless as to what to do.

All these things are rather large projects, and I'd like to remind you guys that I won't put PokeNova in a hiatus, unless it is absolutely necessary. Hopefully the forum system should take a full month at most, the news system a week, the layouts another two weeks, and I have no idea how long the content revision will take. I've also got a three week holiday break coming up in about five or so weeks.

Ahahahah. Well, I finally updated.

This time, we've got a new affiliate; Eonlight Valley, a new NovaMag article, and a Kit-Kat bar half eaten by Mr N. Pass.

Yes, I sincerely do. I've surprisingly updated the thank you page, and I'm all full of thankfulness.

Unfortunately, this update brings saddening news as well as some good.

I've removed two affiliates, The Spirit Valley and Sapphire Milotic. TSV more or less announced a hiatus, while Sapphire Milotic has been inactive for two months.

However, with death comes new life, and I've added a new affiliate - PokeDynasty. Go visit them!

As mentioned previously, I'm still updating the content in the websites section, so keep checking this post for updates!
