Ah, yes. The games that started it all; Pokemon Red and Blue.These two games have one uncountable awards and are among the most famous games ever created. They were done completely in black and white, however if one were to play it on a Gameboy Colour Pokemon Red would be various shades of red, whereas Pokemon Blue would be various shades of blue. I remember stealing the game and the Gameboy Pocket off my brother to play it... despite the fact I could barely read. Truly, these games were absolutely brilliant.

With the success of the two games, an Anime was made. And with the Anime came the game Pokemon Yellow. It more or less followed the plot of the Anime, in that at the beginning, instead of receiving a grass/fire/water type starter, you received Pikachu. This Pikachu refused to stay in it's ball, instead it walked behind you eteernally... a feature which would drive many gamers insane. At the start of the game, the little monster despised you; the best way to change this was to pick up a potion and repeatedly use it on Pikachu, deespite the fact it would do nothing. This made Pikachu happy. Throughout the game, Pikachu grew to love you; unless you put it in boxes, constantly let it faint, or traded it. I remember finishing this one weekend when I was bored; truly, this game, like the two before it, was engrossing.
