Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, introduces a completely new style to the Pokémon Series. For the first time in History, you are the Pokémon.

The story starts off, as you; a human wake up to find yourself lying on the ground. Then, a Pokémon talks to you. But, what? The Pokémon is speaking fluent English. The Pokémon insists that you are just an ordinary Pokémon, you look like any other Pokémon of your breed, you? feel a strange sensation? you look at your hands? What?!!! You really are a Pokémon??? How is this possible?

Mystery Dungeon has the player proceeding through dungeons, in order to rescue other Pokémon. In this world of Pokémon, there are such things as ?Rescue Teams? which are teams compiled of Pokémon, who go to aid Pokémon trapped in bizarre situations. But, just recently, a lot more rescues are taking place... the world seems to be under threat; there are calamities of nature all around. And... you and your partner are smack bang in the middle of it. Rescue missions often take place in dungeons, where you encounter wild Pokémon, that will try to fight you. If they are defeated, there is some chance that they may just want to join your Rescue Team.

As the situation becomes worse, ancient Pokémon are awakened from their sleep. And it?s up to you and your partner to put a stop to all of this, before it is too late. Are you up to the challenge?

There are two versions of Mystery Dungeon. Blue Rescue Team, and Red Rescue Team. The differences are miniscule except for one. This difference is another first in history. The Red Rescue Team game is for the Game Boy Advance, while the Blue Rescue Team is for the Nintendo DS. Other differences are just the appear rates of certain Pokémon and items.
